Security & Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 9, 2025

Entity Covered: Vigilshore Group and its brands, including Qont and associated sub-platforms

Introduction

This Security & Privacy Policy outlines how Vigilshore Group (“we,” “our,” “us”) handles personal information, secures user data, and ensures privacy across all its operational systems, platforms, and services, including the Qont platform and its affiliated modules (e.g., QontVision, QontMedical, QontLogix, and others).

We are committed to protecting the integrity, privacy, and control of user information through security-first architecture, encryption standards, and transparent governance across all jurisdictions we serve.

Scope of Policy

This policy applies to all individuals who:

  • Access or use our websites, platforms, or systems;

  • Purchase or interact with any Qont-branded services;

  • Are employees, applicants, or affiliates of our organization.

It governs all data collected, stored, or processed directly or indirectly by Vigilshore Group, whether through direct interaction or backend integrations with trusted third-party providers.

What Information We Collect

We currently collect and store:

  • Checkout Information: Full name, email address, and optional card details (processed via third-party gateways).

  • Employment & Application Data: Names, employee IDs, and voluntary government IDs or application documents for internal roles.

  • No Sensitive Product Data: All data inputted into Qont systems remains stored locally and encrypted on-device. We do not collect, view, or transfer operational content from our risk management systems.

Where and How Data Is Stored

  • Checkout and user account details are securely stored through our encrypted system, using best-in-class infrastructure hosted in accordance with global data residency laws.

  • Operational input data (e.g., medical risk forms, military scenario scans) are stored locally on user devices, protected with zero-access encryption. This means we cannot access, retrieve, or replicate such data — even with a request.

  • No cloud storage is used unless explicitly stated in the product at the time of use.

Third-Party Processors

We rely on globally recognized platforms for secure handling of transactions and support services:

  • Stripe

  • Google Pay

  • Apple Pay

  • PayPal

  • Wix Payments

All payment information is encrypted and processed directly by these platforms. We do not store, process, or access raw credit card details.

How We Use Your Information

We only use collected data for the following purposes:

  • Fulfilling purchases and transactions

  • Account or employee management

  • Legal or regulatory compliance (if required)

  • Responding to inquiries or support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties outside the scope of essential processing.

Security Measures

  • Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

  • Access to stored user information is restricted to authorized personnel only, under strict confidentiality and audit protocols.

  • Internal systems are subjected to routine security audits.

  • Local data remains under user control through on-device encryption technologies.

Age Limitations

  • Our services are designed for users aged 13 and above, except for platforms or modules related to military, medical, or gambling functions, which are restricted to users aged 18+.

  • We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware that a minor has submitted personal information, we will promptly delete it upon verified request.

User Rights and Jurisdictional Compliance

We comply with the following regulations (where applicable):

  • GDPR (EU/UK) – Users have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing of their data.

  • CCPA (California, USA) – Users have the right to know what data is collected, and to opt out of its sale (we do not sell data).

  • Australian Privacy Act

  • PIPEDA (Canada) and similar global privacy laws

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at: Legal@vigilshore.com

Data Residency

Data is either:

  • Stored locally on user devices (in-app content)

  • Processed and stored through international cloud partners that meet regional data transfer standards, including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Policy on AI/Automation

As of this date, no personal information is processed via autonomous AI systems without user awareness. Risk-scoring and simulation engines may operate using logic-based automated systems, but user information is not used for profiling or behavioral tracking.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect legal, technological, or operational changes. All updates will be posted with a revised “Effective Date.” Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

We take the privacy of children seriously and strive to align with COPPA (U.S.), GDPR (EU), and global standards.

Key Principles:

  • We do not knowingly collect data from children under age 14

  • Users under 14 are restricted from creating accounts or inputting identifiable data without verifiable parental consent

  • Military, medical, gambling, and other restricted-sector tools are not available to users under 18

We are committed to creating a safe environment for all users, especially minors.

Military Privacy & Data Use Policy

Effective Date: July 9, 2025

Due to the high-stakes nature of mission simulations, defense assessments, and scenario tools, Vigilshore treats military user data as classified-equivalent.

Data Use Restrictions:

  • We do not collect, access, or store scenario content, field data, images, or input from military simulations unless:

  • Submitted voluntarily for review

  • Required by law under applicable jurisdiction

  • All mission-related inputs remain on-device or in encrypted user environments

  • No mission data will be sold, replicated, profiled, or anonymized for resale

  • We cooperate with defense and intelligence authorities in lawful investigations but protect user confidentiality in all other cases

Users are responsible for protecting credentials and reporting misuse. Our tools are intelligence-grade — and so is our privacy posture.
